One of the main foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Azerbaijan is to establish and develop friendly and mutually advantageous relations with all peaceful countries of the world. Therefore, Azerbaijan attaches a great importance to the development of relations with Malaysia.
Salah satu daripada polisi asing utama Republik Azerbaijan ialah untuk membina dan mengukuhkan hubungan persahabatan dan saling menguntungkan dengan semua Negara yang aman di dunia. Oleh yang demikian, Azerbaijan memberi keutamaan untuk membina hubungan dengan Malaysia.

Despite the considerable distance between Azerbaijan and Malaysia there is a great potential to develop mutual relations for the benefit of both nations.
Meskipun jarak di antara Azerbaijan dan Malaysia yang agak jauh, potensi untuk membina hubungan yang akrab amat tinggi bagi kepentingan kedua-dua Negara.
